Corporate Investigative Services Celebrates 30 Years
Company Recognizes Partner Jim Szell for Outstanding Achievements
North Olmsted, OH – When former FBI staff members Jim Szell and Bill Taylor worked for the Bureau in the 1970s, the small but growing computer network of networks that would later become the modern internet was just being invented.
Greetings Chamber members! My name is Rick Gorski and I am the Investigative Manager at Corporate Investigative Services, Inc. CIS, Inc. has been a member of the RRCOC since May of 2015. We were invited to join by the attorneys at Battle & Polly, LLC.
My investigative career started by chance way back in 1988 when my brother-in-law (co-owner of CIS, Inc.) called me one night and asked me if I’d assist him on some surveillance cases. I agreed and immediately fell in love with the work and as they say, the rest is history.
My investigative career began while working at the FBI. In 1987, my business partner and I formed Corporate Investigative Services, Inc. Amazingly, that is almost 30 years ago. Our goal has always been to provide quality investigative work in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost. We have been members of the NOCC since moving our business to the city of North Olmsted. Our company provides a full range of services, some of which are described and listed below.
We are proud to announce the addition of Stu Shoaff to our staff. Stu began his investigative career as an FBI Agent. He is the current Chairman of the Society of former FBI Agents for the Cleveland chapter. Stu brings a wealth of experience and expertise involving investigations, security consulting, training and crisis management. He is a member of the FBI National Academy Assoc. and lifetime member of several fraternal law enforcement organizations.
